My sister-in-law, Lora, and cousins, Lisa & Sherry, hosted my first baby shower.  Grandma was kind enough to loan her house & Lora, Lisa, & Sherry handled everything else.  They had the cutest little duck theme going, along with the colors we’ve decided to use in the nursery.  All of the extended family came and we had such a wonderful time hanging out together.  I’ll post pictures as soon as I get copies from everyone.

In Memory...

It’s hard to believe a year has passed since we said our last good-byes to Lee Lantzy.  Even a year later it’s hard to believe he was taken from us so soon.

Ben Gibbard once wrote “It stung like a violet wind that our memories depend on a faulty camera in our mind.”  While our “cameras” may become faultier as the years progress and some memories may become blurred, we will never forget the man that Lee was and never fail to celebrate the impact he had on each of our lives.

Though Lee is gone from this Earth, he will continue to live on in the face of his children and the hearts of all of those who knew and loved him.
