Since Nate was only a week old, we decided to celebrate the holiday at our house this year. Mom and MeMa cooked and brought Thanksgiving dinner to us. Cole and Lora drove down from North Carolina to meet Nathan for the first time.
It was a great holiday & Nate enjoyed meeting his family!
We also celebrated Nate’s one week birthday! It’s amazing how much he’s grown and changed in just the week he’s been here! He tries to push up and pull his little head up when you have him resting on your chest or when you’re burping him. Not quite there yet, but oh so impressive for being just a week old! You’re already growing up too fast, Nate! Slow down! Let Mommy enjoy you being a baby for a while.
His face is plumping up and his little legs don’t quite resemble chicken legs anymore. He only lost 3 ounces after birth and when Sandy stepped on the scale with him yesterday, it looks like he’s a little over 8 pounds now. He really likes his milk!
